The ICI Walk n Talk is an inclusive, low-key social event created and run by our friends at It’s Culture Innit offering a safe, social space to walk, talk, connect and reconnect. Gaymers iNC is always proud to share this event with our community, and you’ll often spot gaymers meandering along on these serene strolls.

Launched in September 2023 in memory of David Yan, Walk ‘n’ Talk is all about exploring nature while building real, meaningful connection in a safe, supportive space.

This is a ticketed event. Please register for a ticket before going to the meetup point.

A special festive Walk and Talk to close the year. We will continue the Thames Path from Walton on Thames to Staines on Thames on Sunday 14th of December, followed by an optional cosy ICI Christmas Roast Lunch at The Cornelian at 3.00 pm.

​The walk is free, as always, and you are very welcome to join even if you are not staying for the roast.

🗺️ ABOUT THIS WALK

​A gentle riverside stretch of the Thames Path, around 12 km, taking around 3 hours at an easy pace. Expect peaceful winter views, river wildlife, boat houses, and lovely spots along the water.

​We will take breaks and walk at our usual relaxed pace. Everyone is welcome whether you are coming for connection, calm, company or a change of scenery.

​Walton on Thames ➡️ Staines on Thames

​📅 Date: Sunday 14 December

​🕚 Meet: 11.20 am at London Waterloo Station (Main concourse)

​🚆 Leave: 11.40 am South Western Railway to Walton on Thames Arrival at 12.14 pm

🏁 Finish: Staines on Thames

Please buy your tickets in advance. You will need

​• London Waterloo to Walton on Thames

​• Staines on Thames to London Waterloo for the return

​🍱 Lunch Option: Christmas roast at The Cornelian from 3.00 pm – Details below.

​We will power through the walk so please bring snacks to keep your energy up
